Through Patient Navigation Services, the American Cancer Society works closely with medical providers to respond effectively to patient needs and extend the caregiving team beyond the boundaries of the medical campus. Note: we do not make referrals to specific health care providers or facilities.

We provide direct support that supplements a patient’s medical care, often removing road blocks that can impede cancer treatment.

Interactive Chemotherapy & Radiation Education for Patients

Refer patients to our interactive guides to learn what to expect before, during and after chemotherapy and radiation treatment.

Volunteer as a Medical Ambassador

Spread the word about cancer prevention and early detection by becoming a Medical Ambassador. Volunteer opportunities include delivering community presentations and serving as advisors to the Society. E-mail us for more information.
